The goal for this extensive renovation was to unlock the full potential of the home’s lower level, converting unused square footage into a vibrant and practical living space for the family to enjoy. We prioritized the use of moisture-resistant materials and proper insulation to ensure a warm, dry, and healthy environment—a critical consideration for below-grade projects in our climate. The design focused on creating a versatile area suitable for entertainment, relaxation, and hosting guests, complete with a full bathroom for added convenience. Every detail, from the electrical plan to the flooring selection, was chosen for its durability, safety, and ability to create a seamless flow with the rest of the home.
